No, Neurofeedback is non-evasive and not painful. Nothing enters into your head, we just analyze the electrical activity that is already occurring in your brain so you can learn to change it.

Clients doing Neurofeedback should feel and see small differences within the first 8 to 12 sessions, continuing through the duration. At MVP, your counselor will continually track your progress through physical assessments.

At MVP we primarily provide Neurofeedback training for those with ADHD, anxiety, Mild to Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury, and Autism. Our Neurofeedback clients range in age from 7 to those in their 70s.

Research shows that at least two appointments a week are necessary to show progress.

Most people need at least 30 sessions to receive long lasting effects. Some people complete more than 40 sessions to achieve the results they would like. The results achieved through Neurofeedback typically don’t hold well unless 30 sessions are completed. If you complete at least 30 sessions, then the results are long lasting with a very small number of people ever needing booster sessions. Each person’s brain and goals are different and we work with you to determine the best path for you to take to reach your goals.

Within the first 20 sessions MVP strongly discourages any breaks as a slight regression can take place. Once at least 20 sessions have been completed a short break in training (one week) will likely not impact treatment.
