I am a California native who came to Colorado for grad school, and fell in love with this state so much I have decided to stay a while. While there may not be any {real} beaches close by, I sure do love the rockies and 14er challenges. Starting in October – you will likely find me watching some hockey here or there- I was born and raised to bleed teal {Go Sharks!} and love most sports – even if I don’t fully understand all of them. And I’m always down for some time in the mountains or a good ole’ fashioned game night.

I know it can be hard watching your child struggle, especially when you don’t know how to help. It can make your world feel like it’s falling apart. Like you’re wading in the water trying to keep your head afloat. That’s why I’m here. I’m here to make the difficult days a little less difficult. To help understand and gain some insight into what’s going on. To walk alongside you and your child toward healing through counseling, therapeutic play techniques, and neurofeedback to help find their voice, identify and process BIG emotions, and move forward by growing and learning together through relationships. We cannot change our past choices AND we have the ability to change how we learn and react next time. Life is all about constant learning- from our past, present, and future selves. Each piece is important. Will it be perfect? No way. Can we learn from it? Absolutely. That is what life is all about- moving forward and learning together in relation to one another. I utilize research and brain-based interventions while working with kiddos, teens, and their families emphasizing their strengths and relationships to overcome difficult seasons, barriers, life circumstances, BIG emotions, and diagnoses (anxiety, depression, ADHD, “difficult behaviors”, as well as other mental health diagnoses), and learn new skills to regain “control” of life and all the struggles that come with it. Life is tough and it takes a village – and I want to be a part of yours! Allowing people into your village is sometimes scary, so please feel free to reach out and I would love to answer any questions you may have.

Professionally: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado (LPC.0014745), as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC 684920), and am Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCN E6197). I hold a Master of Arts degree from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Family Studies from Azusa Pacific University. I have a variety of experience and/or training in Neurofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment in play, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Play Therapy Techniques. All that to say – I have gone through various trainings and certifications to be able to identify and utilize the technique that will help families heal.

My name is Reva Rosenband. I was born and raised in the New York metropolitan area, lived in northern Utah for many years, and relocated to Colorado in 2019. I earned my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Utah State University in 2007 and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado (MFT.0001740). For fourteen years, I worked with tweens and adolescents in residential treatment centers and foster care settings.

I enjoy helping clients, couples, and families find a safe place in therapy where they can develop confidence, communicate better with each other, and overcome anxiety, trauma, depression, and behavioral challenges. I am a strong believer in the value of relationships, including those with one’s therapist, to help clients feel a sense of connectedness, wholeness, and peace. I am collaborative in my approach and hope to travel with clients on their healing journeys.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and hearing them tell me they like what I create in my kitchen for them to devour.

Hey! My name is Jasmijn White. Born and raised in Denton, TX, I moved to Denver 5 years ago. But, a little of my heart has been in Denver for 15 years. My life trajectory has placed me in many environments, walking with many different people, and learning how much it matters to be known and loved. It’s frustrating feeling unseen, unappreciated, or unheard. Whether it be in your family, your school, your close relationships, or the world around you, being unseen damages your self-esteem and leaves you feeling overwhelmed with nowhere to turn for relief. For my clients, I want to provide a space for validation, care, and trust development. Room to explore your identity, ask the hard or weird questions, acknowledge the emotions you feel, and begin the process of repairing your relationship with yourself and developing safe, healthy relationships with others. Although my specialization is with adolescents and young adults, I care deeply about creating space for all ages and families too.

I want to support you, your child, or your family in identifying challenges, finding ways to cope and maintain, and working with your strengths to reach the goals you have for the future.
