Hello, name is Sydney Young (she/her). I was born and raised in California. I completed my APA Internship and Postdoctoral training in Indiana. I recently relocated to Colorado to be closer to my family. I love to spend my free time with my family, shopping, drinking coffee, and going for a walk or run. I earned my Masters and Doctorate at Loma Linda University during which I worked in a variety of clinical settings. During this time I discovered a passion for psychological testing.
I especially enjoy working with children who have ADHD and struggle with regulating their emotions to discover their strengths and how to best utilize them. I enjoy using psychological testing and assessment to help clients better understand what they are experiencing, how their brain is operating and how to use their unique strengths to better themselves.
Professionally: I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Colorado (License # PSY.00005337) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University. My name is Dr. Mitch Ring (he/him). I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle, and my Master’s and Doctorate degrees in School Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. Though my educational background had an emphasis on school-based practice, I found myself drawn to clinical work and the enriching relationships I am able to build with clients in that setting. Helping clients to build tools and strategies that are applicable and useful in day-to-day life is one of the most important parts of my job.
I love to do psychological assessments—there’s nothing quite like a solid answer, and gathering the data that goes into answering clients’ questions about their lives and mental health is an incredibly rewarding process.
I’m originally from Seattle, but Denver has become my second home. I love the outdoors, as well as the local art and music scene. I am excited to be a part of the team at Mountain Vista! I always look forward to meeting new clients and learning about their history as I help to provide them with tools and recommendations they can apply to their life. As a practitioner, I hope to help my clients reach a point of stability in their lives when it comes to their mental health.

Hello, my name is Bess Bryan (she/her/hers). I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and moved to the mountains of Asheville, NC over 30 years ago. I called Asheville home until August of 2024 when I moved to Denver to complete my Doctoral internship with the APA accredited Colorado School Psychology Internship Consortium (COSPIC). I decided to settle in Denver after receiving my doctorate in May of 2025 from the APA accredited Health Service Psychology program at Western Carolina University and am thrilled to join the Mountain Vista Psychology team!
I am a mom to two young adult children who I adopted from Guatemala, two kitties, and a sweet dog that I enjoy exploring the beautiful Colorado mountains with. My 20-year career in education as a classroom teacher/learning specialist and eight years as program director of a nonprofit aimed at advancing educational equity inspired me to return to school and pursue my doctorate. My goal is to help my clients understand and navigate both educational and mental health challenges and identify their unique gifts and strengths through evaluation and assessment and engaging in the therapeutic process.
My orientation is rooted in multicultural, person-centered, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) theories. I also find significant value in understanding family systems and perspectives and approach each client/family with humility and compassion, honoring their unique identities and strengths. Hi, I’m Carson Willis (she/her), a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. I was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas, and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. After college, I joined Teach for America and taught fourth-grade reading for three years. During that time, I witnessed the vital role psychological assessments played in helping students access the support they needed. Seeing the power of diagnostics, especially when they opened doors for children who had been struggling, sparked my interest in becoming an assessment-based clinician.
Since beginning my doctoral training, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan, from toddlers to older adults, on a wide range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, and adjustment to significant life changes. My goal in every session is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to express themselves and receive support in their healing process. Whether I’m providing therapy or conducting assessments, I strive to bring empathy, curiosity, and a strengths-based perspective to our work together.
Outside of the clinical setting, I enjoy listening to podcasts and spending time with my friends and family.

My name is Madalyn Dalley, but I go by Dr. Mady! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who has a specialized focus on neurodevelopmental assessments using a culturally responsive framework. I earned both my master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Colorado Denver, with a concentration in Bilingual School Psychology. Prior to graduate school, I spent time as a young adult teaching English in Cusco, Peru and traveling throughout South America, which undoubtedly shaped my affinity for serving Spanish-speaking clients.
Professionally, I am passionate about bridging linguistic gaps to offer culturally responsive care to my clients in both English and Spanish. I have comprehensive training in diagnostic evaluations for neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, language disorders, and specific learning disorders, etc. I firmly believe in taking a holistic approach to understanding my clients, with careful consideration of the way that home, school, community, medical, and social systems are intertwined to impact an individual's behavioral wellbeing. I prefer the term “discovery” over “diagnosis”, as I approach each evaluation as an opportunity to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how their brain works.
In therapy, I believe my clients are the experts of their own lives. Drawing on my background as a teacher, I create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, heard, and understood through gentle guidance. My approach is grounded in trust, empathy, and genuine connection, all with the goal of supporting clients as they discover their own path toward growth.
In addition to my clinical work, I find deep meaning in training the next generation of culturally-responsive bilingual clinicians, as I provide consultation and training for doctoral students at the University of Colorado Denver’s School Psychology PsyD program.
Outside of work, I am an avid skier, weightlifter, bookworm, traveler, and aspiring polyglot! I am an Idaho native, but consider myself a citizen of the world and call Denver my home.
Professionally, I am a licensed bilingual (Spanish/English) Clinical Psychologist (#6532) and School Psychologist (24439865).
