Licensed Adult, Adolescent, and Child Counselor

We are looking for a part time therapist with hours increasing as client need increases. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with in person sessions that meet the state safety regulations during COVID as well as conducting sessions via telehealth. MVP is a private practice that specializes in evidence based assessment and treatment for Anxiety, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We primarily work with children and families. We want to make a positive difference in the lives of all who interact with us and need the person who fills this position to help us on this mission. Ideally, we would love to add a team member who is excited to be part of our team and grow with us! We are only interested in candidates who are fully licensed in Colorado. We cannot accept those who are working toward their license.

Teen and Adult Counselor Responsibilities and Duties

– Successful work with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with Anxiety or ADHD

– Willingness to use client evaluation to inform your work (Outcome Rating Scales)

-We are private pay and Medicaid practice so new team member will work with both populations.

– Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

– Openness to learning neurofeedback as this is part of the position

– Good communication skills and ability to relate well to children, teens, and adults

– Willingness to work some evenings and/or Saturday hours

Teen and Adult Counselor Qualifications

– Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Master’s in Social Work (LCSW) preferred. Must be licensed or registered with DORA and working toward licensure if not already licensed.

Testing Psychologist (1 Year Of Experience Required)

We are also looking art to full time psychologist to help with testing and assessment of children and adults. MVP is a private practice that specializes in evidence based assessment and treatment for Anxiety, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We primarily work with children and families. Our values include passionate support of our clients and each other, excellence in client care, and respect. We want to make a positive difference in the lives of all who interact with us and need the person who fills this position to help us on this mission. Ideally, we would love to add a team member who is excited to be part of our team and grow with us! We provide thorough evaluations for Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum. This position is perfect for the therapist who enjoys focusing their time on clients and not on marketing their own practice or the paperwork and excessive meetings that can come with agency work. If you are excited about the idea of private practice but do not have or want your own private practice this is perfect for you. The preferred qualifications are:

  • Experience with testing and assessment with children
  • Punctual completion of evaluation reports (we like to get reports complete and give feedback sessions within 2 weeks of testing)
  • Experience assessing and diagnosing Learning Disabilities and ADHD
  • Preference given to those who have experience administering the ADOS-2 and ADI-R
  • Ability to write superior evaluation reports
  • Licensed or Registered Psychologist with DORA
  • Good communication skills and ability to relate well to children, teens, and adults
  • Responsible and passionate about helping others
  • Someone who shares values of collaboration, caring, joy, research based practice, fun, giving back to the community
