Parenting Inspiration: Check This
I found this video on YouTube and thought it was awesome, so of course I had so share it with you all! I often see the parallels between successful leadership and inspirational parenting! When I saw this video so many of the quotes hit home. The video could be paused after each quote for personal reflection and application. For example, I have seen over and over the impact of the parent-child relationship. When parents have a positive relationship with their kids, the kids are much more willing to do what the parents request. When there is a positive parent-child relationship the child comes to the parents asking for guidance. They trust them to be mentors. If there is intense friction in the parent-child relationship, kids typically do not go to their parents with their problems. They are also often less compliant with requests placed upon them. I literally could break down each one of these quotes, but the video does it so beautifully, I will let you click to watch it instead:)
